Journey to Unknown Territory
At the Texas Association of Museums annual meeting in San Antonio, TAM President Kathy Shannon presented the President’s Award to the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History. The award recognizes the Corpus Christi Museum for achieving accreditation for the fourth time since 1973, one only 172 museums nationally to maintain such a long history of excellence. In the presentation Ms. Shannon recognized Rick Stryker for his commitment to elevating the professionalism of the Museum’s work by hiring well-trained staff to produce quality programming and exhibitions.
