Home School Day: Pumpkin Pyrotechnics & Creatures of the Night

Program Details:

Its time to fall into all things October with the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History! With a dash of science, we can freeze and explode jack-o-lanterns; a pinch of osteology we will examine the skeletal remains of nocturnal nighttime creatures; and a sprinkle of biology we dissect owl pellets- combine that together for a perfect learning elixir fit for the season.

Activities Include:

  • Owl Pellet Examinations
  • Biology of Nocturnal Animals (Ex: Bats, Owls, Raccoons)
  • Echolocation Games
  • Mad Science Pumpkin Experiments


Note: Program purchase includes admission to the museum. Feel free to stick around after and explore our new exhibits. Members: Use your membership for free parental admission while your child enjoys our program!
