Join us this summer for adventure, excitement, and tons of fun at our Wonderful World of Science Summer Camp! Kids ages 5-11 can participate in 8 themed weeks of all-new, STEM based activities at the museum. Camp divides its campers into three groups, according to age.  Groups have no more than 20 campers.

Scholarship applications are now closed, thank you to all who applied. Scholarship funds are currently being awarded to as many campers as possible. If selected, CCMSH will reach out by e-mail or telephone.

Camp Details:

  • June 5th, 2023 - July 28th, 2023
  • Monday thru Friday / 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Kinder thru 5th Grade (Ages 5-11)
  • Before Care Starts @ 7:30 a.m. / After Care Ends @ 5:30 p.m.
  • Children Must Bring Lunch Each Day
  • Lunch for Scholarship Children Provided
  • Snacks Provided for All Children
  • Weekly Field Trips & Fun Science Activities

Camp Pricing:

  • Members: $270 per child / per week
  • Non-Members: $300 per child / per week
  • Before Care Only: $25 per child / per week
  • After Care Only: $25 per child / per week
  • Before & After Care: $40 per child / per week

Space

June 5 – June 9
Kinder thru 5th Grade

An out of this world experience for K-5th campers! Come join us for a stellar week of galactic science activities and learn about the history of space exploration.

Chemistry

June 12 – June 16
Kinder thru 5th Grade

Fun is bubbling up this week at camp! K-5th campers can join us for a reactive week of chemistry activities. Join us to find out how chemistry is a part of your life every day.

Engineering

June 26 – June 30
Kinder thru 5th Grade

Tech savvy K-5th campers will short circuit when they find out you’ve signed them up for engineering week! Come learn about machines, circuits, and beginner robotics this week at camp.

Jurassic Journey

July 3, 5, 6, & 7
Kinder thru 5th Grade

Your K-5th camper will ROAR with excitement for four dino-filled days of fun! Sign them up to learn all about pre-historic Texas and the life that lived here millions of years ago.

Note: Museum will be closed in observance of Independence Day. Registration cost is reduced to reflect the holiday closure. Members: $215 per child / Non-Members: $240 per child.

Biology

July 10 – July 14
Kinder thru 5th Grade

Is your K-5th camper interested in the great big world around them? Sign them up for Biology week! This week we’ll learn all about food webs, the fuzzy and ferocious animals that live here, and what real life biologists do every day.

Oceans

July 17 – July 21
Kinder thru 5th Grade

This week is sure to make a big splash with your K-5th camper! Come join us for a deep dive into the depths of the ocean, learn about nautical history, ocean environments, and all the crazy cool creatures that call the big blue sea home.

Space

July 24 – July 28
Kinder thru 5th Grade

Your K-5th campers will be over the moon about this week! Come join us for round two of stellar science activities and history lessons on space exploration.

The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History is committed to a fun, safe, and healthy summer camp experience for your child. As such the Museum will be implementing additional safety measures focused on maintaining a clean and safe Museum environment. These procedures include comprehensive, continual daily cleaning and disinfecting, employee education to follow cleaning protocols outlined by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as communicating healthy workplace guidelines to our staff and volunteers.
