Join us for an unforgettable, family-friendly event Thursday, March 12, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., as we welcome all ages to celebrate our collective curiosity at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History’s Geek Gala Jr!

We’ll celebrate the critters—birds to butterflies to beetles — that hover or climb through our yards.
We’ll dive into mechanics, engineering, and our new Collaboratory.
We’ll focus on the STEM that’s around us every day, and the ways history teaches us how it used to be and the ways science shapes what’s coming next.

Come dressed for a backyard picnic! Think jeans, sun dresses, overalls, and your comfiest play clothes. Easy, breezy, and ready for fun!

Typical gala attire such as dresses and buttoned up shirts and ties are great.
But this is also an opportunity to get funky with it! Costumes and Wild prints like planets, dinos, plants, bugs, etc are all HIGHLY welcomed.
We will have complimentary hair tinsel, hair glitter, and face glitter in multiple colors. So guests can also come dressed in normal gala fashion and add some pizzazz once they get here if they’d like.
Think geeky glasses, suspenders, a beetle broach, dinosaur leggings. Have fun with it!

Proceeds from the Geek Gala Jr. directly support the museum’s mission to engage our community in the exploration of science, history, and innovation in the Corpus Christi and Coastal Bend region through exhibit experiences and educational programs that inspire wonder and spark creativity in guests of all ages.
