Program Details:
Oysters are more than just food or water filters. They are keystone species. Oyster reefs support life in our bays, providing shelter, spawning grounds, and protection. By learning how oysters create community underwater, students are introduced to key ecological concepts of interdependence, biodiversity, and habitat restoration. Join us at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History for Homeschool Day: The “Science of Oysters” brought to you by Texas Surf Conservancy.

Notice for Parents: During our two-hour Home School Program spacing is limited to only students enrolled in Grades 1st-6th. Younger/older siblings or parents are welcome to browse through the Museum with separate general admission ticket purchase(s).
Be on time for the program. Homeschool Day check in begins at 10 am. Late arrivals (more than 15 min late) will not be allowed to attend the program and will not receive a refund or raincheck.
