Come celebrate International Archaeology Day with us!

Come meet our amazing museum archaeology volunteers, get curious about the past, and discover how archaeologists uncover the stories hidden in the things people left behind.

• Learn why fieldwork matters
• Explore the fascinating world of archaeology
• And take part in a hands-on lesson about the ATLATL – the ancient technology that helped pave the way for the modern bow and arrow!

Come try! Ask questions! Discover something you didn’t know before! The past has a story to tell – come see what it has to say!
