Scout Day at CCMSH – Saturday, October 10, 2026

Scouts of all ages are invited to join us for a Scouting America day of activities at the Museum.

For Boy Scouts (Grades 6 – 12):

Archaeology Badge Workshop: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Dig into the world of Archaeology! Learn how artifacts teach us about people in the past, work through the archaeological process, and take part in a simulated dig pit!

Cost: $20 for non-members/$15 for members

Geology Badge Workshop: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Ready to rock, scouts? Roll on into this session to investigate plate tectonics, identify fossils, and more!

Cost: $20 for non-members/$15 for members

Pre-registration is REQUIRED for workshops.

For Cub Scouts (Grades K – 5):

Explore activity stations in the exhibits to work toward select belt loops: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Cost: included with regular Museum admission. $5 discount for Scouts.
